Movate Inc. US has achieved 6th Consecutive Year of Data Privacy Framework Certification. This recertificationunder the DPF reinforces our unwavering commitment to data protection and global compliance.
In 2025, we have expanded our certification to cover our US subsidiaries to strengthen global compliance and enable seamless, secure data flows from the EU, UK, and Switzerland.
About the DPF
The DPF is a self-certification program administered by the US Department of Commerce. It was established in July 2023 after “European Court of Justice invalidated the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield (Schrems II ruling)” This DPF helps US organizations legally receive and process personal data from the EU, UK, and Switzerland under specific protections that align with GDPR-level standards.
Movate’s commitment to privacy
Movate Inc., and its US subsidiaries comply with the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (EU-U.S. DPF), the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF, and/or the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (Swiss-U.S. DPF).
“To verify registration and Movate compliance , search for “Movate” in the search section at the approved DPF site.“
The US subsidiaries now officially covered under the DPF include Movate.ai Inc., TSD Global Inc., Career Horizons, LLC (DBA TSD Global), OnDemand Answers Inc., and Cybernet Software Systems Inc.
Advantages of the certification
The benefits of covering the US entities under the DPF program include broader scope of legal alignment, customer assurance, operational flexibility, and a unified privacy posture.
- Broader legal alignment: Each US entity now benefits from the legal protections and accountability mechanisms the DPF provides, ensuring seamless data transfers.
- Customer assurance: Demonstrates our proactive commitment to customer data privacy, bolstereed trust and credibility in global deals.
- Operational flexibility: Enables all included entities to engage in cross-border processing without separate contractual or safeguard burdens.
- Unified privacy posture: This facilitates the consistent application of data protection controls across more business units, reducing fragmentation and compliance risk.
“Compliance with DPF boosts global client trust by demonstrating accountability and compliance. It also ensures smoother data transfer processes between the US and EU, differentiates Movate in competitive and regulated markets, and strongly places Movate for future audits and regulatory requirements.
Compliance with DPF brings significant merits, including legal data transfers, global compliance, simplified contractual obligations, privacy protections, competitive advantage, and safeguards against regulatory risks.
Enables legal data transfers: Without DPF or another valid mechanism (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses), US companies cannot legally receive EU/UK/Swiss personal data.
Enhances trust and global compliance: Certification signals to European customers, partners, and regulators that your company takes data protection seriously.
Simplifies contractual obligations: Reduces the need for complex and individual data transfer agreements (like SCCs) with each European partner.
Strengthens privacy protections: Companies must adhere to key principles: notice, choice, accountability for onward transfer, security, data integrity, and access.
Market advantage and reputation: DPF compliance offers companies the extra edge when dealing with global clients who are particular about privacy compliance.
“Circumvent regulatory risk: Without DPF
or similar safeguards, data transfers could be suspended, and companies may
face fines or loss of business.”
Essential for legal compliance
This is a key requirement for legal compliance with “international data protection laws: GDPR, CCPA,” as it echoes our commitment to transparency by clearly informing users how Movate collects, uses, stores, and protects their personal data. Compliance strengthens trust with the customer base and partner ecosystem and guarantees accountability within the organization! Additionally, a publicly available policy is often required for partnerships, digital platforms, and international business operations, reinforcing our position as a privacy-conscious and responsible organization.

A key indicator of ‘data stewardship’
DPR certification signals a significant leap forward in Movate’s commitment to protecting personal data across borders; the process entailed self-assessments, policy alignment, and technical mapping, which shows the company’s focus on ensuring the highest standards of global privacy compliance; and building trust through responsible data stewardship. Thanks to the infosec, GRC, and other functions for their initiatives in achieving this compliance.
