Roles and Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) to support business intelligence and analytics.
- Work with Oracle and MySQL databases, writing optimized SQL and PL/SQL queries for data extraction and transformation.
- Integrate and transform data from heterogeneous sources, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Collaborate with data architects and analysts to support data modeling and warehouse design.
- Monitor and troubleshoot ETL workflows, applying performance tuning techniques to ensure efficiency.
- Utilize scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) for automation and custom data processing (preferred).
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver data solutions.
- Maintain documentation for ETL processes and ensure compliance with data governance standards.
Required and Desired skills:
- 5-8 years of experience as an ETL Developer, with hands-on expertise in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
- Proficiency in Oracle Database and MySQL, with strong skills in SQL and PL/SQL development.
- Experience in data integration, transformation, and loading from heterogeneous data sources.
- Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and ETL best practices.
- Familiarity with performance tuning and troubleshooting of ETL processes.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) for automation is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
