Arun Gopalakrishnan is the Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer, Strategic Verticals at Movate. In this capacity, he leads the commercial charter for key industries including Retail & CPG, Manufacturing, Life Sciences & Healthcare, Travel & Hospitality, and Financial Services, focusing on deepening client partnerships and driving AI-first growth across the business.

With more than two decades of global experience in Digital Engineering and Transformation, Arun has built and scaled businesses to $250M+, developed $1B+ pipelines, and led large-scale AI-driven programs that delivered measurable outcomes. His career includes leadership roles at Sutherland Digital, Infosys, Cognizant, and UST, where he played a central role in shaping digital and transformation agendas.

Arun’s leadership philosophy emphasizes partnership, collaboration, and resilience. He is passionate about enabling clients to accelerate their transformation journeys while nurturing high-performing teams that advance from within. At Movate, his focus is on strengthening strategic verticals, empowering teams, and creating sustained commercial growth.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Trivandrum, India, and has completed the Advanced Management Program (AMP) at Harvard Business School. Beyond work, Arun finds balance in music, sports, and travel. He is also learning the violin and exploring Carnatic classical music, which he believes nurtures discipline, patience, and creativity.
